The Manatsu Zenkoku tour has come to an end!
I'm sad...
But it was such a fun time.
Hearing "Hito Natsu no Nagasa Yori" at Jingu is the thing that made me
realize that this summer is coming to an end.
However, this year it wasn't on the set list for the regional tours,
so I thought I wouldn't be able to hear it,
but then I was able to hear it on the final day as a heroine unit with Kubo-san, Nagi, and Aruno...
I listened from my next performance position while gazing up at the sky.
I wonder if it's almost time for the seasons to change.
It was so hot when we were rehearsing outside...
This year, we all wore sunglasses to avoid sunburn,
but when we went outside after the tour ended, it felt chilly at times.
I remembered a senpai saying that watching the live performances from the evening
into the night felt like we were moving from summer to autumn,
and it really felt like the tour had ended and a little bit of summer had passed...
This summer was filled with love!
Thank you so much to everyone who came to our 2025 Manatsu Zenkoku Tour
and to everyone who tuned in live!
I could see everyone's faces and expressions so well,
and the memories I made with all the fans and the sight of
the purple penlights at the end of every show all made me so happy 😊
Live shows are so much fun!
This year I felt a strong desire to become a part of the group that can provide entertainment
that exceeds what everyone was looking forward to and came to see!
I want to grow even more and continue to have everyone think of Nogizaka46 as the best.
This will be Nogizaka46's 10th live performance at Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium,
and I believe we've been able to reach this milestone thanks to the staff who always support us,
our senpais who have always cherished their hard work, gratitude, and smiles,
and all of you who have supported us.
We want to continue to make this a place that will remain important to Nogizaka46.
I'd like to talk a bit about some memories of various songs.
For our new song, "Same Numbers",
I was so happy to be able to dance right behind Kaki-san, who was leading the way. 💃
There was a choreography where Kaki-san and I switched places mid-song,
and at first we didn't do anything special, but as the tour progressed,
we started making eye contact there, smiling a little, and on the final day, we were grinning, lol.
I was so happy to be able to make eye contact there.
Thank you so much for supporting this tour with your smiles.
I was so happy we were able to talk so much after the final day.
And during "Manatsubiyo"
the fans called out each member's name one by one. 😊
We really heard your voices.
We listened closely. 👂
Thank you!!!
(Actually, at first, the names were displayed normally on the monitor,
but the staff changed it so that everyone's name would appear on the dial
to make it easier for fans to call them.
Even things like this are filled with love...😊 The drone was also amazing...!
And then there's "Mukuchi na Lion"
I really love this song, and it kind of makes my heart ache when I hear it.
I think songs can be interpreted in a variety of ways,
so I tried to break it down in my own way and perform it.
There were times when I wished I could send this song to my younger self,
and the lyrics "It's your job to live strong" gave me the push I needed.
I'm really glad that I was able to perform this song on this summer's tour.
I hope it's a performance that touches someone's heart.
(Sachiko wrote about the shouting on her blog lol. Seriously, lol.
We're both anxious people, so we had fond memories of shouting in the background
just before this time lol. 😏 Thank you for working so hard as vice captain.)
This was a really great photo.
We were imitating the silhouette of a kiss.
After every live performance, I feel a mixture of emotions.
Happiness, fun, warmth, joy, regret, wishing I could have done more, etc.
I wonder what I felt most strongly this year.
I thought to myself, "Mao, you can still do more."
I want to be able to contribute even more to this group that's filled with love.
I want to perform in a way that reaches the hearts of as many people as possible!"
These were my thoughts.
I really love my classmates, who I respect and who get a little rowdy when we're all together,
and I think their inner strength is really cool.
I look up to my seniors, and I want to do my best to make them feel like they can rely on me,
and I'm very happy when I can talk to them.
I'm very happy to have juniors,
and I hope to be someone who can be a source of comfort to others when they're troubled.
I hope Nogizaka46 will continue to be a wonderful group that many people support!
After the tour ended, I spent some time lying down and chatting
with friends from my hometown on the riverbank. lol
I love the sparkling moments at live shows,
but I also love these ordinary moments.
Both are my favorite times.
It's difficult to write down everything I felt this summer,
and I may not have written it well, but thank you for reading this far.
Once again, thank you for this summer! I look forward to working with you in the future!
